I hear some good things are happening at Bearskin. A new deal between the company and its pilots, buying more aircraft, and they are even going to have a new look! .. As I hear it there will be a new paint scheme and fresh new paint for the fleet.
Fresh new paint? it's so vintage that it's back in style. The other airlines are doing some of their planes in "retro" paint jobs. Why not just do like the bear and wait till it's back in style!
What kind of new airplanes? More Tubes... or a completely different machine? (I'd suggest more 99s... it's the wave of the future!!) Is the paint scheme decided yet?
Good to hear! The Bear was a decent place to work... super bunch of guys and gals there.
I'm pretty sure that Bearskins regular clientele don't give a rats ass about the colour of the airplane or the age of the paint (or the age of the aircraft for that matter).
So long as the seat in front of them has them handy pouches in the back to store all of their empty candy bar wrappers...

Back out on that road again
Turn this beast into the wind
There are those that break and bend
I'm the other kind
With all due respect, you are out of date with respect to Bearskin Clientele. All of the northern routes were sold to Wasaya a few years back. Their routes are business runs East to West between Winnipeg and Ottawa for the most part. That crowd really arent known for the candy bar wrappers in the seat back pockets. They get on and off with a briefcase and are quite respectful of the airplane and crew for the most part.
i.e. if they are re-painting etc...it will probably be noticed and even appreciated.

I think the future is going to be looking bright for Bearskin. They've managed to bring there fleet down to basically the one type. Now it looks as though they are gonig to start growing on that. Good to see .. Hopefully they'll take there position of being in the spotlight back.
The Bear was by far the best company I ever worked for. Even though they laid my ass off a couple years ago. I'm glad things are coming back together for them.
Great company with great working conditions. The best Tier 3 pay in the country. And now a new paint job. I love it here.
The airplanes may not be big but the people here are some of the happiest and best to work with in aviation. A good contract goes a long way!!
Hey lefty... things are good! Enjoying myself immensely... it's nice to get my hands on the controls again. Even if they are motorcycle handles! How's it going out west?
Disco, JV... wussup?! It's like a reunion in here! Peace, love and Donnie Osmond!
Hey Jeremy, how are things?
I'm only guessing, but by motorcycle handles, I'm assuming you're on the Jungle-jet and they have the upside down yoke in their true Brazilian fashion, unless I'm way off base and you're driving a Vespa.
Hmmm.
Actually, I wish the tube came with those handlebars, it'd make handling those 3-knot+ crosswinds a little more manageable.
Glad to hear you're flying,
Take care.
Right on both counts, JV... I am on the Burrito-jet and I am driving a Vespa. (It's got red racing stripes, however, and I have one of those awesome novelty licence plate holders on it--"my other car is an airplane"--so it's not like it's uncool or anything.) Yeah, those ram horn things are wacky... crazy Brazilians!
So what are the developments, disco?? Sounds like things are moving quick out there, too! Nice to see some upswing in this zany biz!
