Engine start

Post by Cat Driver »

Just thought I would post a picture of what a real airplane engine looks like when you start it.

http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e353/ ... 506015.jpg

Clive just sent me this picture to let me know that all four engines are now running and the Connie will be ready to ferry as soon as the paper work is complete.

Anyhow that is a real airplane engine start..

Hope you enjoy.

Sorry CAT but nothing sounds better then a Pratt R-2000 on start-up or better yet the R-2800 on the C-46 during T/O

Ah yes...the great mosquito/black fly clearing engines! Always loved it when the 215's came to Geraldton

Yeh, Big Pistons watching a big radial start up is an event, especially with a miss start flooded.

You gotta admit those are a horney looking set of engines on the Connie.

That kind of thing makes Willie, who is at one with nature, cry.

If Mother Nature had lungs, she'd hack up something black on your white penny-loafters, CAT.

Willie you should go to your reservation Priest or Christian Missionary and have them explain the difference between Arson and incest.

I would hate to hear that you set fire to your sister.

By the way we should smuggle some cigarettes over here to B.C. and make a few dollars.

And is a Buck well spent an Indian that just finished getting laid?

I would almost give my left nut and my superfluous third nipple to fly a connie. Almost. :>

Cheers,
