Any words on the company and union talks about PG , the 320 and the bid?

The word as of today is that the talks have not been able to bridge the differences.

As a result, the Company will publish the results of the Bid on Monday, May 15, 2006.

So if there are a bunch of Airbus seats that no-one wants, and they can't put newhires in those seats, who's going to fly the planes? They'll have to come up with something won't they? Unless they figure its cheaper to cancel flights....

A little birdie told me that they will be hiring 30 out of every 100 they interview off the street, and 35 out of every 100 they interview from jazz.

If it is true, it adds up to 65 hired out of 200 interviewed.

135 out of 200 interviewed get "No Thanks" letters.
