Duffman: Hey Duff lovers! Does anyone in this bar loooove Duff?
Carl: Hey, it's Duffman!
Lenny: Newsweek said you died of liver failure.
Duffman: Duffman can never die, only the actors who play him. Ooh yeah!

Ok, a 182 has a constant speed prop, and cowl flaps, but all you really need to know, flying a 182, is to be sure to trim nose up to get rid of the forward pressure on the yoke, on short final. This is to avoid ungracefully dropping the nose gear on the pavement, as the speed decreases even more during the flare, and the forward pressure on the yoke increases even more.
Your rivets between the nose gear and the firewall will thank you.
Oh, as far as emergencies, here's one you might not see ... since the 182 has a normal (ie non-counterweighted) constant speed propeller, after an engine failure, pull the prop control all the way out (coarse pitch) to improve your glide distance. You might still have oil pressure.
