A peltor is a small bird, indigenous only to New Guinea, which is fond of eating mold and hanging upside-down. Because of this trait, warriors in New Guinea will hang peltors upside down from the rear of their grass belts, and as they swing back and forth, the peltors, with their long, sharp narrow beaks, will peck at the mold that grows around the warrior's testicles in the jungle heat and humidity.
Yes, that was very funny.
Hedley, if you're going to keep falling off your ride doing stoppies, you really must get a better lid; the damage is starting to show.....
It must be either that, or perhaps too much negative G doing those rolling 360's.
Why don't they just put speakers in a pair of smaller suit cases and strap them together. Man they are huge, block the view of pax's out the front window
. norris is a HUGE GEEK!!!!! he would definatly suit a pair of peltors. but the birds couldnt peck the mold off his testicals cause he doesnt have any!
I don't know how good their audio headsets are, but Peltor makes the best damned hearing protectors I've ever worn!
I don't think any headset looks good... but If for you, it's all about looking cool, then maybe you need a helmet with a mirror visor and ACE printed on the front?
i use a peltor and i love it originally i was a little unsure but after buying it and wearing it for a while i was sold. it doesnt give me a migran like DC does
I absolutely loved my Peltor, it didn't give me a headache like the DC did and it was lighter. The band can be bent to shape for any head. Now i have a ANR Sennheiser and its great.
I've never had a problem with my Peltor. I find them a lot easier to wear than DCs. As they are significantly lighter, I don't get nearly as bad headaches from wearing them for long periods of time.
