How many in the course?
What A/C and bases?
Did they mention if there will be any more hiring this summer?
Thanks!

Isn't it 20 per month (5 crews per type)? Any idea what spots in the last GS?

Thanks Sewerpipe,
Did they mention when the next course will be?
Also can you confirm whether or not it will be 10 or 20 new hires a month?

Anyone been called yet for a June course date? (...or aware of a scheduled groundschool in June for that matter?!?)
Thanks

I heard something about 6 guys starting in the next few days. I cant deny it nor confirm it, but apparently calls going out again for mid june. References are being called again. One chief pilot, called 7 times for 7 different references in the last week supposedly asked when they could possibly be going (so he can start looking for new people himself) and the lady at Jazz said mid June. So thats my gossip.

Nothing scheduled in July or August. Probably not until September. Instructors like their summer holidays I guess.

From what I hear, they are so short for the summer sched that they need the instructors on the line to cover vacations and hiring will continue after.

And im pretty sure that there were sim evals going on in yyz last week. A guy walked into cae and asked a few of us where the dash 8 sim was. He wasnt a jazz guy so i figured he was there for an eval.
