Keep the cup in Canada!!!
To the Calgary flames fans out there, do you guys automatically cheer for the non-oiler team, or will you let your canadian pride outpower your edmonton rivalry?

I am a huge Flames fan. But this is for the Cup! If it can't be Calgary then Oilers are the next best thing. At least it is a team from Alberta! But bottom line, I will be singing O'Canada with the rest of the Oiler fans come game time!!!!

Bring home the Cup Boys!!!

England??? Seems to me the last time England won anything without help was Sir Walter Raleigh vs the Spanish armada but there may have been something more recent. Help me out folks.

Doesn't matter how much bashing England gets here, they're still going to be victorious this World Cup.

On a side note, as I continue to hijack this hockey thread, nice to see Chilly-Jocko-Land didn't qualify --- AGAIN!

If you go watch a soccer game you will understand why the Mayflower was so crowded.

The Mayflower was a ship crowded with immigrants leaving Europe or parts there of for North America. Soccer is predominantly(or was) a game recognized mostly in Europe. The people on the Mayflower were trying to get away from the slow slow slow game of soccer. Get it?

I thought you were commenting on the fans at a football match!

The game isn't slow, it is the same speed but on a different scale..... :D

Soccer (football) is a game played by men too scared to play rugby.

For the England bashers, the last rugby world cup played in Australia was won by England so the pomms are not that bad after all.

God wears a hurricane uniform...

Against montreal when they're down by 2, the habs lose their captain and they manage to get that "lucky" goal in a couple of games to make the difference and win the series.

Then against buffalo, again it seems like they are going to lose that series, but somehow buffalo's defence gets sick and they manage to win.

And now, against Edmonton, the probable con smythe trophy winner is out for the rest of the series.

Kiss that damned horseshoe caniacs, cause it's been helping you out.

However, it's NOT OVER!

Go oilers...

Too bad the French are ahead of them right now...

And yeah, I don't think the Oilers are going to get far now.
