Identity crisis
I have lost my Jane's and saw a military A/C fly into YYC this afternoon and I was wondering if anybody knows what it was?
It has 4 engines at the aft same as the DC9 but 2 per side. I am thinking Vickers, I am positive it is British.

Take my love
Take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care
I'm still free
You cannot take the sky from me

Flight Aware did not record anything but that is not unusual.
The Royal Air Force quite often bring British soldiers in from the UK for training at Suffield or Wainwright. They use either the military version of the VC 10 or an L1011.

The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

It just left this morning off of 16 and was screaming loud!
I've also found that Flightaware usually doesn't have any listings of any military aircraft in their system. Perhaps they do not get access to it for security reasons? Then again it is also buggy as hell for Canada since all the info is from the FAA system.
