certificate of registration?
HI guys,
I know I posed this question before but Transport Canada can't help me with this as they tell me to go to Ottawa and ask them, so maybe some of you guys can help me with this c of r question. If you look below under number 7 (company D) and number 9 (company C) you see a gap between February 1991 and August 1994. Who actually registered this airplane between these two dates as Company C cancelled the c of r. Company C and Company D worked together because Company D did not have an OC and Company C did, so I am guessing Company C cancelled formed a subsidiary and continued until 1994 when Company D finally got their OC and took over. Does this make sense? I need some help if anybody could and if not oh well I guess I have to go to Ottawa. I am just puzzled about this gap between 1991 and 1994 but if it doesn't show anybody new registering the airplane I am assuming that Company C continued to have custody and control until 1994.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
thank you

I see that this particular aircraft has been the subject of a few access to information requests as well...
JetPhotos.net
There certainly does appear to be a gap when the aircraft isn't showing has having a valid CofR in Canada. Perhaps it was being employed by the CIA...
I see that it is now in the U.S. living a new life as N80383

Just a thought. Maybe it was parked or in storage for that period of time. Do any of the aircraft records indicate it being operated for that period? I am not sure what difference it would make if it was registered or not.
If you are seeking this information for a prebuy history, the maintenance and aircraft records should be a better source to determine when, where and by whom the aircraft was operated.
Just my 2 cents worth...

Helinas,
We can clearly see there is a gap in CofR for this airplane. But my question is why is it so important? Is the airplane currently operating under a valid CofR? Is the airplane properly maintained and safe to fly? If so, then why go through all the problem of finding its history?
Just a question...
