I was thinking about starting a thread about this, acutally.
CID? I have no fucking idea.
Cat Driver- he'll pop into the chat room from time to time.
In the chat, he has said he will not post here anymore, as he is 70ish, and not willing to put up with know it alls that don't know shit slamming him. (I'm paraphrasing here, pm me Cat if I'm wrong, and I'll edit)
He is still lurking- just not posting. He's spending time with his wife, and Cub in a non-confrontational, happy way.
Personally, I think that's good.
He made some great points here, for which I am grateful, as it might have taken me years to learn them:
-TC's a little fucked from the top down. Don't get them on your bad side.
-hands and feet flying is becoming a thing of the past, but still very important.
-train your co-pilot to be as good as you, because if the shit hits the fan, you'll need him to be as good as you
-WHERE AM I LANDING? WHERE IS MY GEAR? (Even the Duke swore by this, and you won't find it in From The Ground Up)

That is pretty much what I interpreted as well and quite frankly, I don't blame him. People make some really dumb statements knowing nothing about you, what you have done or where you have been. It isn't really the best place to post if you are after intellectual discussion. There are of course exceptions that make it worth logging on.
As soon as I can figure out Cats meathod of quitting, I think I'll join him in the "Read Only Mode" and leave the bickering to some other Brainiac.
