Scoop on Dynamic Flight Services
Just wondering if anyone here has worked or presently works for Dynamic Flight Services in Calgary. Any info on the company would be greatly appreciated. ie- hours, a/c maint, pay, management. most importantly what are their airplanes like mechanically (Hoe/Be)? Well maintained? Please reply if you have solid facts. not looking for gossip or rumors. only guys that have worked there or had/has a friend that works there now that knows how it is. Advanced Thank you for anyone that replies.
Some employers want to see what you think you are worth. If you ask for a fair or slightly higher wage maybe you are worth it. If you low ball yourself it may indicate that you are worth what you think you are worth. Do I make sense? I remember once ..oh maybe ten years ago, I applied for a job and was asked that very question. I replied with a figure that was 30% higher then the job advertized for. I got the job along with the pay. You can bet I worked for every penny. They took the chance on me and I made sure they got their monies worth. I might add that my new co-workers were pissed off but they were slackers and didn't deserve the pay they got. Also I'm always a bit confused when they ask for pay expected...
Now, seeing as it is Dynamic we are talking about. This may or may not be the case. They may be just trying to see how little they can get you to work for. The less the better me thinks. Mind you with jobs getting easier to find these days, it may be an honest question.
Good Luck.

I'm gonna guess they want to see how little you think you are worth. I'm sure they've decided the max they are willing to pay, but they could always pay less if you want them to.
You asked for solid facts from people who've worked there so I got nuttin fer ya, but if you want things I've been told second and third hand I've got lots, and none of it is good.
