I work late Friday, but might make it for Sat. and Sun. Can a guy get a ride in a Norseman? Does Red fill right up or can a guy still get a room or campsite? I'm taking my 14 year old son, so I won't spend much time in the late night watering holes; but I'm sure there will be sober storytelling going on somewhere. How about fishing after the weekend?

They have Norseman rides from the town dcks on Howey bay from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM each day. I think it's $40 adults and $30 kids.
If flying in they allow underwing camping at the airport for free. Airport is a $20.00 cab ride from Howey Bay. But the airport locals usually stop by and ask if anyone needs a ride into town.
Not sure about the campgrounds and hotels/motels. The place gets busy.
The aerobatic performer is Pete McLeod from Red Lake in a Gilles 200. He puts on a real good show.
The sober storytelling seems to go on at the town docks as well.
They just posted the weekend schedule on there website at:

If anyone is flying in to YRL, stop by Superior's Office in the Airport Terminal and we would be happy to provide a ride into town! (Provided any of us can still walk) If you haven't booked a room yet, CALL TODAY! Even the Red Lake Roach Motel will be full. See you all here. Flucker
Pierre Maguire should have his larnyx ripped out! IDIOT!
