when are those guys starting?
I thougth it was late summer, now I hear winter?
anyone?
how many plane are they starting with?
72k for a skipper is not bad for a prop airplane..., how much for a FO?
what happen to the guys who just got in and are in the process of training? or may be finished training, are they seating at home getting paid??

The "rumor" is they are just playing the game. Rumor says that they will never even start. They just want AC to buy them out. Again.....rumor. But this is the suspicion of many pilots that have worked for Deluce for many years and they all say this is what he is trying to do.
Actually the truth is that they are all aliens disguised as humans and its all a setup for an invasion of Earth. As soon as the "mother ship" gets here the invasion will begin. My contact from Jupiter tells me that he has a feeling it will start at City Centre and work outwards so run for them thar hills!!!!Legacy wrote:The "rumor" is they are just playing the game. He was referring to something else; I've since changed it.yycflyguy wrote:That's an old commercial for when Greyhound had their day in the sun flying 727's competing against Westjet and AC on domestic routes. I believe they lasted 7 months.CAL wrote:fabh.....whats with the avitar?

pity they can't "upgrade" the Port Authority. The TPA seem to have a death wish - their spats with AC keep making the papers which gives the anti-YTZs an opportunity to be quoted as wishing the whole place would close.
Apparently there's only one director now on the TPA board!

It does extend a bit further than just the Jazz dilemma, the TPA has even gone as far as launching a lawsuit against Community Air. The airport definately deserves to stay, but I don't think the leadership of the TPA is giving YTZ much justice. They've tried to brush up the airport's image with a recent PR campaign, which was a well-needed step. Anything to combat the misinformation floating around is good in my opinion.EI-EIO wrote:The TPA seem to have a death wish - their spats with AC keep making the papers which gives the anti-YTZs an opportunity to be quoted as wishing the whole place would close.
But, again, the much-publicized Jazz spat is not helping. You'd think in their financial situation, they'd do anything possible to attract more airlines (if Porter brings competition to town, that's great for the airport). Jazz hasn't really given a crap about YTZ though, especially after the stunt they pulled during the last mayoral election (stupid impossible statements to prevent Deluce from starting). They deserved to be kicked out
Provided it falls in line with the Tripartite Agreement, and the hippies and councillors don't have their way, long live YTZ. There have likely been a few under-the-door exclusive contracts with Porter, but as long as the airport stays open, I won't care!
