Well seeing as you don't have a licence you may want to get one. Working that ramp job at pearson ain't going to do shit for your career as you don't need to kiss ass in that job.
Best advise if you do go into aviation. Do what I did get a big jar a KY say 30 liters of it, spread it all over yourself from head to toe and bend over cause your going to get F$%ed numerous times in this industry.
For your first job come up to YRL, I hear theres a company up here that looking for low time drivers on a monthly basis as the guys that due come up forget the jelly and can't handle being F$&ed over.

IDF, I agree with you, where do all these malcontents come from?
Just go read all the posts by superiorwhore and when you finish tell me if you would hire him/her or want to share a flight deck with someone with an anal complex?

superiorwhore, what is it like to be so mentally deficient that you need to hide behind a computer to communicate?
If you are really a pilot I shudder to think what aviation is coming to.

" Uhhhh, aren't you doing the same thing? "
You are obviously not to bright or don't read to well superiorwhore, because if you had even part of a brain you would know I don't hide behind a computer.
What really makes me annoyed is Joe is a good friend of mine ( the owner of this forum ) and he set this up for the people involved in aviation to communicate in.
You add nothing positive or intelligent to this forum and it is your ilk that could eventually destroy what should be a good site to read and communicate.
Why don't you go to San Fransisco and spend your leisure time in the bath houses seeing as you like to take it up the ass so much.

Now kids, play nice.
Krofox, do you want to be a pilot, or an Air Traffic Controller (ATC)? The two jobs are very different in terms of career paths. To be a pilot, there are several ways to go about it, but you will have to get your Private (PPL) and Commercial (CPL) Pilot licences. The Flight Training forum is a good place to start looking for schools near you.
If you want to be a controller, you will deffinately have to work on the english (don't worry, alot of the posters here have far worse writing skills than you, and they grew up with the language!). You will also have to apply to Nav Canada. They are the organisation which provides Air Traffic Services (ATS) in Canada.
Also, you'll have to get used to Three Letter Acronyms (TLA).
IDF, I have to say, wading in deep for post #4! I don't envy the flaming comming your way in the next little while. But then again, it's good to see someone who tells it straight. Let's see where this goes... btw, you misquoted Shakespere.

Glad to help!
Another thought I had, you might want to take a first year University English course or English as a Second Language course. It would help a lot with grammar and the like. Simply trying to improve through speaking can be difficult because people tend to use slang and improper english in everyday conversation. Just a thought.
Good luck!

Ever think about trying an aviation related college program?? There are several out there that will give you an excellent idea about how this crazy industry works. Its extremely rewarding once you get to where you want to be.
If ATC is where you want to be great! Be advised that there are 3 different areas to choose from. Flight Service Specialist (FSS) VFR controller or IFR controller. IFR definately pays more then the others but you have to choose one area to apply to.
I personally recommend that you study up on such things as meteorology, air law, etc. before heading in to see Nav Canada.
Lastly, just ignore the uneducated posts on the forum. Majority of people in aviation I find are always willing and able to help out. Any other questions feel free to PM me.
