Just a quick "Thank-you" to the guy a while ago working YQT terminal in the morning. I was yakking on comm2 with a guy who used to work with me and not paying nearly enough attention. Terminal dude said turn "Left and I'll get you on course quicker" and I, a**hole, turned right. I got a stern (and WELL deserved) scolding for turning the wrong way after 3 calls. Then before he handed us off to Center he basically said that it was no harm and no foul.
This is not the first time I've made a bonehead move and I'm sure it wont be the last. This, too, is why I never question or bitch about what I'm given by you folks. Tower, Terminal and Center...If the opportunity ever presents itself the beer is on me...I'll just need you guys to point me to the bar!

No kidding. What's with having only one guy working tower and ground now? I'm amazed what those guys can do. They're dealing with students in the circuit, plus a multitude of sked airlines, plus controlling the ground and doing clearance delivery. Now they even have to get our civil idents. It's being piled on these guys and they just handle it.
