According to the Edmonton Journal the aircraft was a Cessna 337. It also says:
Wright said Wednesday the pilot had been with the company two years.
He said the pilot's family had not been notified at press time Wednesday

very sad news to hear, especially to loose 6 ppl in such a small population is a very big blow to the community. everyone knows everyone.
They are all in a better place now, and will be remembered...........
my condolences to the families and all involved.

I have to say, I was in shock when I heard the news on the radio this morning. Right away I had to phone and find out who the pilot was. I have to say we have lost a fine pilot, and a fine person. My thoughts go out to the north wrigth crew
