Westex - bankruptcy protection?

D.O. is not gone, you cant kill a guy with that much drive. 
As for him being gone and "us now having a chance", its quite the opposite.

There are alot of good people there, that will do there best to keep the doors open.
The maintenance dept. there, is going against harsh odds, ie. banks hesitent as hell to invest because of a weak industry, 9/11 etc. which all leads to a lack of money, or the extreme need to budget. Yet those guys on the floor pull off some amazing odds defying stuff for the company, with what little they have at times, because they are loyal, use there heads, and are extremely hard working.

RXXguy, No seriously a shirt / tie and dress shoes to fly cargo, Do they make you pay for your uniform? Is it for the Illusion the company want's to create of professional people. Man I want to be associated with that group of people. Must be nice knowing the boss thinks so highly of your skill he doesnt pay you shit, I wonder what else he doesnt think to highly of perhaps maintenance or WCB or for that matter the CARS. This atmosphere of Quality must be a great place to go everyday where no one gives a rats ass about anything. Anyway, RXXGUY, I hope you get the common sense to:
1) Dont shit where you live.
2) Not cheat on your hot wife, who pays for your Regency addiction
3) AND, last but not least. Get at least half a ball, and quit Regency.

Westex will pull through this I'm sure. They are in a very tight spot but don't think they will go down without a fight. They have gotten through alot already.
And for "RXXGUY":
I know this is a "Westex" posting, but "RXXGUY" and Regency Express (or sonic blue or whatever their horrible name is) have alot to do with why Westex has had to operate the way they have.... So, i think this is appropriate for this page:
Maybe you should re-think your strategy for how you will be progressing your way through the aviation industry. Working....no, sorrry, VOLUNTEERING (or, whoring yourself out is another way to look at it) is a prime example of how the industry in Canada has gotten to where it is today. No wonder companies pay their employees such low wages, cause goof-balls like you and the others that are doing it at Regency are volunteering your time for no income. What is the difference between you and hooker downtown Vancouver?
I will tell you, she at least has the little self respect that she has, to know not to do a job, with out getting some sort of payment.
And don't tell me that getting flight time is your reward, that's garbage.
So on behalf of myself, and all the other pilot's that have never worked for free. THANK YOU. Thanks for putting the time and effort in to making this great industry the way it is today.

I think you must be thinking of someone else!
Regency HAS nothing to do with why Westex is in bankrupcy protection, and if your going to blame time builders at Regency for Westex's failure you have got some serious issues.
If your looking to get a job at Westex and thinking you will eventually start flying, don't bother. They sold the navajo, and guys on the ramp that have been there for 2 years didn't get hired on the metros this summer because they don't want low hour pilots on the metro, and informed the ones that actually that had interviews to eventually fly (non cargo employees) that there will not be a position without some multi experience behind you.
D.O is not the president anymore, Doug Tadman is. He is very proffessional and actually acts like he cares, so we shall see what happens. *fingers crossed*

Now, it's either one of three people that "fempilot" could possibly be. Just cause you went off on a tangent about Regency, I think it's pretty obvious who it is. And your right, it's not cause of Regency that Westex in in this position. There's multiple reason, that being said, one of them is having to deal with crap like Regency. There are some pilots there that know and wish that they weren't there, fair enough. Do what you gotto do. But it's the goof's that think they are there cause it's a great company, and for some reason think that they are "the man" cause they volunteer their time. Well, they can go put a pickle in they're bum and sit at the "flying beaver" with their uniform on. Honestly!
Just remember who started Westex, and brought them this far. It was
Mr. Oliver and his staff. So next time you go and say,
"Doug Tadman is. He is very proffessional and actually acts like he cares, which is more then i ever saw out of D.O. "
Just remember that you have only been around for a few months, and next time you start cutting down the owner of the company you work for, make sure you don't do it on a public website. Casuse you will soon regret that you did.
I'm sure Mr Tadman is very proffessional, and he will bring Westex out of the slump they are in. And best of luck to him. But regardless, have respect for the man who created you position at Westex. Other wise you would still be at Regency, working for nothing.
