I gotta show this one to my wife. She is an aviation insurance underwriter. Now mind you, before anyone starts with the insurance thing, I have to tell you that she is very good at what she does. She understands the industry well from both sides.

My question is... who are the clowns driving down the threshold of the runway filming the landing??? What happened to security??

Good work Dubya.

Judging by where the engine controls were left when they evacuated the plane, I'd hazard to say he realized he wasn't going to make it and firewalled it for an attempted overshoot. Must have bolted out of that cockpit at the speed of light when the plane stopped moving.

IDIOT!!!

"A review of the FAA Airport/Facility Directory for the Northeast U.S., revealed the following notation listed in the Airport Remarks section of the Atlantic City/Bader Field Airport entry, "Arpt CLOSED to jet traffic." Additionally, runway 11 was a 2,948 foot-long, 100 foot-wide, asphalt runway."

Until I saw the dutch registration, I was wondering if it was a Transport Canada Cessna Citation. Last I heard, they were the largest operator of Cessna Citations in Canada.

I can now say without a doubt, that I have seen EVERYTHING!!

But seriously, that guy probably didn't break any rules until he fired it back up and tried to taxi it without a float rating. Transport would eat that guy for breakfast.

Nice of the Airport Maintainance guys to haul ass down there to plant all that evidence too, like the "15 knot direct tailwind" and the foot of standing water that the camera didn't seem to pick up...

Anyway, the good news is looks like everyone swam away

Pratt could use that video as a promotional video for customers.

"Hey folks look how reliabe our engines are, even after your pilot screws the pooch, our engines will still try to get you to your destination."

That was some funny shit though, dumb ass pilot
