Israeli police storm UK embassy, capture Palestinian

Israeli police storm UK embassy, capture Palestinian

CNN reporting that Israeli police "stormed" the UK embassy to go after this guy. Would this be with the blessing of the UK, I assume? I thought embassies were effectively considered foreign territory (belonging to the country being represented), and that the police would not have jurisdiction inside the embassy grounds?

Having the host country intervene in a hostile situation isn't unprecedented, either. Though this seems to be more of a case of a guy choosing a really dumb way of getting asylum, than someone who actually meant to cause harm. The gun he had was a fake.
