how many of you use autopilot all the time and keep it secret?? :lol:

I've used it a couple times, but using it really makes me feel like a monkey. plus if i'm even a bit sleepy i know i'd go out like a light

Why would you set autopilot when solo? Not much fun flyin in a straight line at the same altitude

I used it about 50' after takeoff on my first solo... It was fucking awesome - did everything for me, all I had to do was turn this little knob.... And then it took me all the way back down to 50' before I turned it off and landed - and then proceded to get soaked!

I love the autopilot!

Is there a setting on that autopilot that takes care of base to final 400'AGL with the horn goin?

I've never been equipped with autopilot... GPS... nothing of that fancy stuff! Just straight old flying :)

On my way to the airport I'm the auto pilot. Then I become the plane pilot. Sometimes I'm a boat pilot.
