Trent Air !?
Just wondering if any low-timers such as myself or any instructors applied to Trent Air recently in response to their job postings a few weeks ago. It said the closing date was today... Any callbacks?

As of late TrentAir is in a "restructuring" phase.
The school has been recently sold. Hence there has been long delays in getting the new school up and running.
Currently they have 0 planes. You can check TC aircraft register and see that they have only a Cessna 152 that is being operated at Oshawa.
As for the charter, the owner has a Cessna 310, however they do not have the OC for it yet.
SO .... you can draw your own conclusions.

Sure Shot:
Are You SURE ....
According to Trent Air Flight Academy Website they have
2 - 172's ... C-FFYH & C-GWXV
1 - C150 ... C-GCYT
Checking TC Aircraft Register Search ... they have 0 planes as of now
FFYH & GWXV are registed to the former owner, which are now private ...
Unless they have been lease back to the school by the owner POR ... which I highly doubt
As for GCYT, it's now gone to Burlington, privately owned.
As for "their" 310 its owned by a a/c broker TR.
So if someone told you that it's their navajo .... 2 routes,
1- they wanted to make themselves look good by showing one of that isn't theirs ... OR
2- Simple observation ... How can they operate a flight school / charter business when they don't have an OC or a/c registered?
I don't mean to flame on Trent Air .... but like anything in aviation ... do your homework and find out if it's truth or fiction ...

Flight schools suck at updating websites plus it might not be online right now. Anyway it had a blue tail and only on one side of it did it say "Trent Air". Anyone know why it was orbiting Buttonville like 4 orbits with the trucks waiting?
