Update on AC waiting times

Post by Moose777 »

So is the wait time still about 2 months these days for AC. What about PFO’s, are they trying to send them within 3 weeks?

It’s a fun waiting game……….

They told me 8-9 weeks in my interview late July (Vancouver). How long has it been for you?

June 26th interview.. told I would hear in 4 weeks.. almost 2 months now and no news...sounds like they are just backed up or something.. I jumpseated today on AC and was told that normally if you have not heard within about 3 weeks (i.e. a "nasty gram") , then they are just playing the "points" game and you will get called eventurally...whenever they get desparate enought to call the "lower point " guys and gals..
I personally am seriously considering a polite call asking for a status report, using the line that I was told during my interview I would hear something within 4 weeks.... I am aware many of you will probably say that I'll get a "nasty gram" immediately after calling them... who knows. I just think that it is reasonable to make a quick enquiry... we'll see I still have not decided.

Speaking of nasty grams….. has anyone heard of someone getting the bad news lately? It seems that they are backed up and I wonder if that goes for sending out the PFO’s as well.

Had the interview 1 month ago at mainline. Still no news. Anybody else have an interview around then? Did any of you hear yet? I know of a half dozen of people getting interviews right now. What's the longest wait time anyone has heard of? Guess I'm just too used to living in this "instant world"... *sigh*

I found out 4 weeks to the day. 8 weeks for one of my friends. So 1 to 2 months is the norm I would think. Having said that, another guy I know only found out 6 months later.

Hope you hear soon!!
