She did my private flight test a long time ago.....

I worked with Gretchen for a few years. She was one of the most genuine people I ever knew.
My sincere condolences to Gordie and the girls.

I did my commercial training, commercial ride, and multi ride with her in fact i think I was her last student.
When we were doin my commercial ride and workin the pattern at Oliver they were having a yak fly in, so we stopped mid flite test to check out the warbirds and went for lunch at the Southwinds nearby. I prudently bought lunch and said to her are u sure we can do this, and she replied I,am the examiner and we do this if I want so relax. Nicest ride I ever had.
One class lady, she will be missed by many of us.

Gretchen did my private license in a Fleet Canuck in 1992. The last time I saw her was when you guys landed at the Oliver Yak fly in... small world
