There's a character in the movie Animal House named Neidermeyer that I'm reminded of here. It is bad enough that the level of debate sinks to the kind of juvinile behaviour often exhibited here, where name calling and insults seem to be the tactic of choice. But repeatedly threatening to sic the authorities on anyone you deem to step outside your personal limits of taste or conduct is detrimental to this forum and its contributors. The moderator's removal of the thread in question was entirely appropriate in my opinion but only because of your threats, not the subject matter.

These repeated threats are contrary to the free flow of ideas and opinion on this forum and are obviously harmful to the people who post here. I appeal to the forum administrators to remove your access to this site.

Speaking of e lawyers and all that, to have S&J removed would be totally unconstitutional. Sure he's a little inflammatory but I enjoy his rants and the amount of disturbance he creates and maybe even the odd intelligent thing he has to say. You wanna ban him because you don't like what he stands for. Ban instead of deal with? Shows you're not on same level as him and would rather get someone to rid you of the problem than fight with it yourself.

Beside if S&J really wanted to push the issue I'm sure that his trillion dollar computer has a copied sample of the video to send the authoritas.

We can't get rid of S & J!! Sure 90% of the stuff he goes on about is pretty much way off base. At least he causes others to come out of the woodwork and give their opinions. We can't agree about everything all the time, how boring would that be?

If it were only S&J's opinions posted here I would have no problem at all with it, and couldn't (wouldn't) do anything about if I did. What he is doing though is posting threats to report what appears on this forum to the authorities such as the previous thread that started this whole thing. S&J has a "constitutional right" as someone mentioned to say whatever he likes, but he has no such right to remain on this forum if the administrators don't want him here. If the administrators didn't like the word "Rockie", they could go ahead and block me out of this forum and I would have no redress. Because this forum's existence, and our participation in it is entirely up to the administrators discretion...period.

I have no confidence that S&J won't actually turn someone on this forum in to the authorities for the reward if he could. His postings indicate that he would. And we're not talking about child molesters here. This whole thing started with a couple of guys innocently enjoying the sheer thrill of flight in a harmless way, but unfortunately showing video proof of it here for someone like S&J to see. Now a circumstance that at most calls for a dressing down by a chief pilot followed by a bunch of beer afterwards has been threatened by a poster here with punitive action by the authorities.

Are you okay with that?

None of us have any "rights" whatsoever on this forum and it is up to the administrators if they will tolerate this kind of behaviour from one of their posters or not. I don't think they should and they should show S&J the door. Hence my previous post.

Opinions are one thing, but a snitch in the midst?
