Judging by the way he seemed to be getting pulled down to the floor, I'd say they pulled 7.1. I wonder if they shot the end scene after shutdown later; on my first ride in a Hornet, I could hardly stand up when we climbed down the ladder, I sure didn't bounce across the ramp. After an hour and twenty minutes of pulling g's; I was mostly looking for a nap, I have no clue what all was said in the debrief.monkeyonuranus wrote:Did it say 7.1 G's he pulled. That seems high for someones first time in a fighter. Wonder if he blacked out or got sick.

A while ago a local news anchor in Edmonton went up in an hornet at Cold Lake. She puked in her mast and was scared shitless during the ride and looked funny after. It's hard to see how a person could go through that many G's the first time out.
BTW, I'm very jealous of them.
