Starbucks coffee tastes terrible. Too bitter.
Their other drinks are good, but you need to be a linguistics major to order them. Doulbe mocafrappcino blended no fat latte cream whatever the hell gimme a friggen break drink....that'll be $7.36 please...oh and would you like a Sheryl Crow CD with that?
Tim Hortons gets my vote.

Why do something now when you can do it later??
My vote is for Timmy's. You don't have to speak Italian to read the menu, and they still serve coffee flavoured coffee. Avid coffee drinkers should watch this video. Hilarious.

Used to do the Tim Hortins on first leg to work. Could no longer handle the 20 min. line up to get in & out.
Now it's Starbucks all the way. $2.25 for a tall cup of Americano & i'm fixed for the morning anyway.
If you can't roll "Americano" off your tongue then you'd better roll up the rim in hope to win at Tim's.

They're all a bloody rip off. Tim's is the most $$ after you factor in the gas you waste in the drive through.
Starbuck's is just way too gay (not that there's anything wrong with gay) for me. I want a cup of coffee. A medium double/double! Not some "gay" tall, vende, or grande.....whatever the Hell that is!
Country Style tastes like week old socks.
Robin's is better in Man, than Ont...now that makes sence.
BTW, Tim's is more $$ in Man, than Ont??
Buy a good bean. Grind it and use a press.....best coffee anywhere. If you guys that frequent Tim's or Starbucks actually did the math...you'd shit yourselves!

Nah... Starbucks is the shit! Once you visit frequently, you'll eventually catch on to the lingo. Don't be afraid people, if you made a mistake a and say small, medium or large.. Someone will correct you! Nothing but a learning proscess! Timmy's? Second Cup is better than Timmy's. Second Cup is also my second choice.

Tim Hortons. I would kill anyone that tried to take it away from me.

Grind your own the night before and set the machine to have a pot waiting for you in the morning before you head out into the cold. I can make 50 pots for 12 bucks and I go to the roasting house where they do all the work. Beans are still hot when I get em!

I alternate. Probably frequent Starbucks more. They have many different beans and the variety can be fun and interesting. And if its a matter of sitting inside either, I'd much rather sit inside a Starbucks. No question.
Speaking about YYC airport specifically, a good portion of the Timmy's are horrible. Shit service. Shit coffee. They can't understand you. You can't understand them. A double double means 1 sugar, 5 creams. Slow as molasses.
Starbucks is quicker at making incredibly more complicated drinks than Timmy's is at just pressing the cream/sugar buttons and pouring it into a cup. Its all really quite silly.
I agree with those who say buy your own and grind it yourself. Cheaper to buy the beans yes. But the coffee maker, grinder, etc. does run a bit high. Worth it, but its not a matter of pulling up to a drive thru and saying 'XL Double Double.'
You get what you pay for.

Hey! You're full of beans!
I've never seen Tim's coffee beans for sale! I've only seen tins of ground coffee for sale which you can keep in the fridge for some freshness. Then brew it anytime with a clean pot, for great tasting coffee.
I'm sure you can buy coffee beans and grind them at Safeway and at the Second cup.

What was I doing in the Goodwill store? Well the FO salary's not quite the grandest.
