Doug Morley of Minett, Ontario (Canada) writes, "I walk my dog Neko every day here in Muskoka. The boats are put away, but here is my neighbor's 1945 Piper Cub, ready to go as usual. The lake won't freeze for another month, so there is lots of time left for this old bird."

A lovely picture indeed but, for any budding float pilots out there, have a look at the water level on the back of the floats. That's why you have to beach a floatplane when it snows heavily or get out of bed and keep the tail cleared off. I've seen a few sit on their arse and sink when all the compartments flooded one at a time!

Why is it that when I try and go to AVWEB only half the page loads up.
Almost all I get is broken pictures and Xs.

Its not a big deal just wondering if its just me.

Sounds like it's on yer end. I was able to load the entire page fine.
