Tony,

I finally get it, if someone wearing a maple leaf kills someone in Afghanistan its ok, however if someone wearing the star spangled banner, (or in the case of Marines, nothing because we don't need flashy shit on our shoulders to know who we fight for) they are plain old murderers.

Gotta love your double standards.

Oh yeah, Merry Christmas.

I think the whole concept of "Peace Keeping" in this day and age is a bit of an irrelevant concept. Just like the UN.

And the role of Canada being a leading nation in peacekeeping was a Liberal illusion, created whilst the Canadian Forces, Canadian Armed Forces, or whatever the @#$! you want call it was being downsized, pulled apart and put back together again, reorganized, etc.

Tony, your concept of the world is inaccurate, to say the least.

While I will agree with you that the war in Iraq did originate from lies, you can't link that with any transgressions from a minority of US troops who are currently serving or served in the not too distant past.

But I suppose its more convenient to paint all US troops with the same brush, isn't it? Even Michael Moore, the 'creator/editor' of truth would disagree with you there.

How do you think you would react to the situation these guys are in? Hug people in the streets?
Of course not. These people are Arabiacs. You know Muslumoids. These people look different than us and speak a funny language. The obvious thing to do, in this situation, is to bomb them into freedom.

In the name of God, of course.

these kids have seen their parents liberated with american guns to the back of the fucking head.
If I undstand correctly, Iraqi's that are suffering is a tragedy.

i hope the day comes when you american sympathizers
loose your relatives to an american bomb, i will then laugh as you suffer.

Again, if I understand correctly, American supporters getting killed is laughable?

Your logic is f*cked.

So kill them sand niggers. All of them. All 22 million of them.

Let me guess. You watch Fox News. You think O'Reilly is a scholar.

this post is not about war

so don't fuckin change it

I do not believe that this represents all US soldiers over seas!

On top of it, I personaly have never seen an IED take a persons leg off either. Maybe they have. Maybe they have seen kids throw grenades at US soldiers. Maybe they are just stuoid young kids who know no better.

I / we do not know the whole story nor the whole picture. only this one glimps of it.

Although I find it very sad, and unprofessional, I don't know whats its like to be there....

On a side note, I first thought they were kids from Vancouver chasing down water.

Do you really expect much more from american soldiers? I mean really, who are these kids? just kids, and if we take it even further, they are street kids. Poor street kids (the americanos).

You think these are ivy league students? These are the poor ghetto kids that the u.s. administration can send to eyeraq. Who else would go. So don't be expecting them to act in a polite manner. If they were in their ghetto homes, they would be killing each other, so let them go to eyeraq and them sand niggers.

Now, for those who say it's ok to taunt these kids, can you not differentiate between these kids and the mujahidin/resistance/whatever you wanna call them. Is your head that thick, that you can't see outside fox news channel? Yeah, eyeraq has nothing but islamic extremists that are roaming its streets waiting to kill americans. They come in all forms, kids, women, elders, etc.

p.s. I been to manitoba, so I can talk about 3rd world countries, aiite?

You talking to me?

If you are, then let me tell you this.

That's quite the assumption that you made, similar to, my daddy's stronger than your daddy.

But really, he is.

Now if you'd like to put your street talk aside, and share a few war stories, I've got a few for ya

Not to disagree with you bob but suicide bombers come in all shapes and colours.

Image
In this photo released by Hamas, Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, Palestinian Fatma Omar An-Najar is seen before carrying out a suicide bombing next to Israeli soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip. The 64-year-old Palestinian grandmother blew herself up near Israeli troops sweeping through northern Gaza on Thursday, accenting a day of clashes and rocket fire that threaten to derail fragile efforts for a cease-fire. Eight other Palestinians were killed in a day of violence in the second day of Israel's current operation aimed at halting or at least slowing the rocket fire from northern Gaza at nearby Israeli towns and villages. (AP Photo/Hamas, HO)
I am in no way excusing what they did, as that was the sickest thing I have seen but thought it was worth showing that anyone can and will attack.

bmc, look at your avatar. It is a man with his head up his ass. Now, reread what you posted. Do you think its coincidence you chose that as your avatar?

If you could provide a relation or referene between my post and your post it would be helpful rather than taking the "right wing American trailer park" view when you don't understand.

I always wondered how many diseases coudl be cured if the US budget in Iraq was put toward medical research for just one year...

Hell, I vote CATSAs budget for cancer. Catchy too, CATSA for cancer... I think I'll make T-shirts.

Back to soldiers taunting kids...

There's an asshole in every crowd. I've also seen video of soldiers handing out water, medical aid, candy, toys, school supplies...

Why is every soldier assumed to represent the military as a whole. Why is it "American soldiers" are assholes, rather than "thjis guy" is an asshole?

Kid? He was a thief who was caught breaking into the Canadians' compound stealing supplies.
Shidane Arone (1977? - 17 March 1993) was a Somali teenager who was beaten to death by Canadian soldiers from the Canadian Airborne Regiment.

Arone was caught on March 16 attempting to steal supplies from the Canadian base. Two members of the Airborne, Corporal Clayton Matchee and Private Kyle Brown, bound Arone and tortured him over the next several hours. Ultimately, he died of his injuries.

While the military initially claimed Matchee and Brown had acted alone, it was later revealed that sixteen others had visited the tent while Arone was captive, including superior officers. Also, Arone's screams were revealed to have been sufficiently loud as to be audible throughout the camp.

Sounds about right. Steal a few things and get tortured and killed. Serves him right. Right?

How many old granny suicide bombers were in eyeraq? or for a matter of fact, in any of the middle eastern countries?

I get what you're tryin to say, but having 1 that was in the news the other day in palestine, doesn't prove my statement wrong.

Like I said, I am not trying to disagree with you, but my point was there is no clear definition of the enemy.

From a soldiers stand point I would think that they would be very jumpy on the trigger after seeing that the person who is trying to kill them reminded them of their grandmother or their 14 year old son/daughter.
