Why is it so bad to have an opinion. Now I'll admit that this particular thread started not as a question but as an axe-grinding session, that aside, why is sharing information a bad thing?
good point :)

btw just some more; I hope "good information"
If you work there as a class 4 you will learn a lot....

i dont look at this site much (as i live in england) but i did my training at montair a few years ago so was quite surprised to see the amount of crap people wrote about the place and its boss in particular. I had the priviledge of having al as my ifr instructor and can honestly say he was the best instructor i had before or since then with another montair instructor a close second. He knows what he is talking about and as it happened we got along quite well. I think those who who scream that he is too hard or mean probably need to grow up a bit. If you are involved in his organization and dont like him, then bugger off and shut it..

my fav is an owner threatening to say you'll never work another day in this industry after refusing a trip in severe icing
only to find out a couple of yrs later he wrote of the plane only by devine intervention no one was hurt I think the insurance company
Insured it will be a long time before that owner works .

I think its legitimate to trash a company that you've had a bad experience with.

A reasonable response to getting screwed. I enjoyed the parody.

You can immediately tell those who have no argument but call names and insults instead of constructing a rebuttal as the ones who really don't have a clue. It has the unintended consequence of reinforcing the original complaint. Good work guys.
