I guess British and Cathay don't count for some reason.

AC's business service is usually much better than the service/attitude that's found in the back.

The passengers that voted AC this award were either on drugs or paid off, because just one look at their business class product and you can see why they come behind BA and CX. Most of their business class seating is a good few years behind the other guys (above) and the service is hardly leading edge.

Honestly, when I step onto an AC flight, I am reminded of BA in the 80's before privitisation when it "served a purpose" but wasn't by any means a "market innovator" or market competitor...pretty second rate.

When was the last time you were on AC in business class on an international route? Yes some of the older 767's are a bit long in the tooth but they are all being replaced with the new lie flat beds. (have a look on airliners.net for pics) The 340 and 330 have the great business class seats and amenities. As someone mentioned earlier on in this thread, the service in the front is far superior to what you get in the back.

I can say with all honesty that AC first class service is exactly that - first class. Having flown on most of the worlds major carriers, AC is pretty damn good, not the best, but not as bad as it's being made out.

Since when did AC have a first class? On the web site they show only economy and executive classes.

Isn't AC the only carrier in Canada with an executive class? So I guess they have the worst...and the best depending on how you look at it???

IMHO, you people spouting off about Air Canada being great, either work there and are junior, or you have never experienced a real airline..

Give your head a shake.. AC service sucks... Doesn't matter if you are business or cattle..

Go out and see how the real world leaders do it and then report back..
