Saw a post in the gen section about nicest people that you have met in the biz...
What about the nicest/best/most professional instructors you have met?
One of mine...
Phillipe Rippoll from MFC? Where is flipper these days???
I know way too many good folk who have instructed to single any one of them out... But I will give credit to a very good friend of mine who helped play a large roll in keeping me motivated. Thanks Chris!
Any instructor that holds their cool and adapts to the student then they should get all the respect in the world. The hardest part about teaching is trying to adapt to the different individual. With my experience as an instructor I had students that were doctors, high schoolers, millionares (trying to buy their license), Fishermen and even people that had trouble with reading ( lasted a day and a half). So looking at the different indivduals then you have to change you style to adapt to the student. This is the hardest part about instructing.
Remember it is all about confidence!!!!!!!

Must've been a pretty good instructor if you stuck with him that long.

"Yeah. There is a problem. You...because you're dangerous. You're dangerous and foolish - and that makes you dangerous! Now, let's cut the...crap. We've got a plane to fly. Let's try to be on time, okay?"
~Val Kilmer, Saturday Night Live
"The ability to ditch an airplane in the Hudson does not qualify a pilot for a pay raise. The ability to get the pilots, with this ability, to work for 30% or 40% pay cuts qualifies those in management for millions in bonuses."
Hey Pete!
Teaching you was fun, so I almost felt guilty charging you for it! No bombing stuff yet, but we get a day on the range in feb for small arms currency. Should be fun! Take her easy and merry x-mas!

I dealt with henry while doing my CFI interview with him. Working with him, while being at transport, was very professional and easy to get along with. TC needs more people like him.
