Ah yes, the good-old days at Cadets. I was in the 893 Beaufort Squadron. Unfortunately, only one year in Cadets, 1986- 1987. Did the CFB Penhold "thing" in the summer of 1987, and was shocked to discovered that there are cities in Canada that have only dirt roads! Mmmmm, cream of wheat for breakfast. Voodoo Flight also got permanently lodged in my mind as the "usual suspects" troublemakers.
I now fly as FO on Airbus A320's for a Middle-Eastern carrier.

822 (Tutor) Sqn Breslau, ON 1998-2001
2000 ITAC, Trenton/Loyalist College (anyone else from Remove Before flight?)
Unfortunately never received the opportunity to learn the art of flying with fellow cadet comrades. Ended up retiring early so I could get a job at the airport and pay for training myself. Did first solo flight 15 months later.
Definitely had some of the best times in Cadets!
Also Soo class of '05. Good times there too

845 Avro Arrow Sqn. from 98 - 02
ITAC 99
Glider 01
Power 02
Sault College 05
Currently flying Islanders in the Caribbean. I have to give lots of credit to the Air Cadet system for getting me started in my career. I really recommend youth to at least go and investigate the organization and see what it's all about.
