I have a friend that flys the 37 for them. He seems to enjoy it. I think the route structure is a bit limited but they seem to do some cool stuff with the machines that are gravel equipped. All second hand info, sorry don't have much more to add.

I did an interview pre - F-100's.

I don't know what's changed since then, I could give you the info I had from before re pay, etc. from what I remember, but it's almost two years old.

PM me if you want me to pass it on.

I do know some of the guys there - great group running the ship. Definitely a good gig.

Cheers

Hi Tripleittt,

Pay is above industry standard with a profit sharing program.

As for upgrades, as always, it is entirely dependant on growth and right now 5T is growing with B737 F/O interviews going on this week. A class that started in September of 05 is now siting #6 on the 737 F/O seniortiy list and rumour has it that at a couple of Dash 8's and a couple of Boeing's are in the works for 07. if it all pans out there will be lots of movement and hiring this year.

I'm not a pilot for CDN North. Hence, I can't offer info. on them with respect to pay structure etc. However, I do check-in for them out of YVR South Terminal. I frequently speak with F/a's and pilots. In general, they seem like a great crew to work for friendly/happy & professional staff etc. I'd love to fly for em!!

If you guys don't mind, what are the min. times for a F100/ 737-200 F/O? Do they hire bush drivers? Do you need twin/turbine time?

Thanks in advance!!

The 3 folks I know who got on there all had near 4000 hours and were King Air captains at the time, and 2 of them had arctic experience. But there are stories floating around of them mixing up the pot with the odd lower timer who knew someone. I believe salaries for FO's start around the 60K mark and for captains top out around 120. But the real perk is the food!

YYC Crew,

Canadian North does a crew change charter for the Company Canadian Natural Resources (oil Patch Work), and associated sub-contractors. The flight usually arrives between 1030/ 11am (ish) via YNR/ YLW, then departs around 1230/1300 for the Horizon Aerodrome (CYNR -Near Fort Mc Murray) via Kelowna . Depending on numbers going up or down to the camp it's either a Northern Caribou DHC8-100 or Canadian North's F100 or sometimes the B 737-200.

Co joe,

Looks like i've got a while to go. You can always aim high right? Thanks for your help!!! :D

No problem man. Like I said those are only 3 of many more they've hired. If you spoke inuvialuit and inuktitut that might help your chances.
