Night Vision
After a long hiatus from the industry i'm considering making a go as a pilot while I still have time. One thing that has changed since I originally got my licence is that I now ware glasses, though I only started waring them a couple of years ago. One thing i'm noticing at night that has me worried especially now as glass cockpits become standard is that I find it difficult to focus, at night, on blue and violet light. While I plan to take this up with a specialist, i'm wondering if anyone out there has similar experiences and/or can give me some thoughts on the matter...Thanks.
what you need is a set of PVS-7's
if you can get them out of the states

Well, those NVG's look pretty serious to me! I know there are some great new anti glare lenses out there. I am actually just pickin up mine tommorow so I will let ya know how they work. I have experienced some reflection issues during night flying with the ones i have now. And ya as for going to see a doc, don;t give him any details he don;t need to know, nobody wants to loose there wings!
Son, Your gonna have to make your mind up about growing up and becoming a pilot.. You can't do both!!
