Hello.
I just went to my Jazz interview and now I wait.
I think my interview went well but its always hard to tell.
I am more concerned about experience though. I have 2700 hours, flown jets for 1000 hours, the rest is all High Perf aircraft over 12500, including the Dash 8 that they operate. But I am seriously lacking PIC time.
Does anyone think this may be an issue? Does anyone who made it know of people that were low PIC timeers?
Thanks Cheers.

I would not worry about it. You would not have been called for an interview in the first place if you didn't meet their requirements. Sounds like you got some good experience.
Now it is all about getting through the Sim Eval and the Medical. That is what will get you the job or PFOed.
Good luck and take care

Thanks thats a bit reassuring.
During the interview it was laid out as either PFO letter in 2 or 3 weeks OR an invitation to a medical and a sim ride. That's why I was asking.
Now this question I have!!
It is usually proper to send a Thank You note after an interview in any field of business.
Have any of you sent a thank you email to your interviewers? Would that be proper or just taken the wrong way as a little pushy?
CZEG.

I didn't and don't know of anyone who has. I personally would not. I would just thank them on the spot personally after the interview and leave it at that.
I don't think that would change anything as far as the decision to hire you goes. They tell the "will get back to you in 2-3 weeks" line to everyone they interview (at least they told me anyways).
Just IMHO.
Cheers.

I've sent a thank you note to the interviewers on every interview I've ever attended. Whether or not it helps, I'm not sure. I just do it to show my appreciation.
I want to die like my grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming in terror like his passengers...
Taking the time to send a Thank You letter, shows your appreciation for the time they have have spent with you. It also brings your file to the forefront again and leaves your name with a favorable "imprint" on their minds.
IMO, it also sets you aside as a professional rather than just another guy off the street with some flying time in a log book. Most everyone applying has experience, but determining who is the best person ( human being ) for the job is the hard part.
Anything you can do to make you appear better than the next guy can only help your cause.

Did my interview on the 9th. Think it when well. They did ask for my logbooks to be certified and they weren't....BOOOOOO
They asked me to get them certified and to fax the pages back to them.
I hope I wont get PFOed.
Other than that, use the questions sample posted earlier and everything should go OK.
Anyone have a clue on what they might do??
Cheers

Dont worry CZEG, if you feel good about how the interview went then its just a matter of time until they call you. There doesnt seem to be a hidden quality they are looking for, if they like your attitude they will want to know how well you can fly in the Sim. Wait times vary from 0 days to a few months, depending on demand to fill the GS. Hang in there, good luck in the process.
