Destination Air...

Post by 1000 HP »

I was almost hired by them once not too long ago. It seemed like a go and then I never heard from them again. They might be operating out of a phone booth because when I phoned them, their numbers were not in service. I actually talked to the Chief Pilot a couple of times on his cell phone. He was an australien (hehe). Harry I believe was his name. Seemed OK...Just do yourself a favor and have some hidden escape money on you to cover a ticket home if you get hired. :D

Hello 1000HP,

Same story here...for the second time. You ever talked with Pat?

With over 30 employees it would have to be an industrial sized phone booth. The "Chief Pilot" in question was Henry. He is no longer part of the operation
We are just about to buy our second 208. That'll give us 24 seats.

Don't be discouraged gentlemen, emails sometimes go missing for days or weeks in Thailand. If you are on the "hit list", we will get hold of you.

Good luck

I did not talk to Pat. I hear he is an american from Seattle. I still would love to go down there. I've got 500 hours on a Caravan now and almost 5000 TT. Ah well, I guess I should dig up his E-mail and send him off an update....
