flight training and insurance
Can I trust that my flight school will have adequate insurance for me and the airplane when doing flight training with them?
The only thing I'd worry about is the insurance deductible amount and who is responsible for paying it. Some schools will require renters to pay the deductible. This could apply to a commercial student building time. The best thing to do is ask the CFI and have something signed in writing. For example at our school when students join they sign a safety agreement that acknowledges that the school is responsible.
Insurance
Just because there is an Insurance Certificate in with the on-board documents doesn`t prove a thing.
Is there actually coverage in force, is there hull insurance and what are the policy limits/deductibles are the BIG questions!
