Unfortunately, you can't speed on the roads like that anymore. Big clamp downs in France and Switzerland. In Switzerland, the fine is $20 per kilometer over the speadlimit.
A buddy of mine was clocked at 144km/hr in a 100 zone. Do the math. $880 speeding ticket. Since he had French plates, they couldn't yank his license. If he had a Swiss license, he would have lost it.
The good old days of doin 190 on motorway to work in the morning are behind us. That Top Gear story was shot at least a year ago before the clampdown.

Using a C182 for this comparison is a pretty strange choice.
I might suggest a P-51D North American Mustang as a better choice. It is far more comparable to the ferociously fast and powerful, rare, exotic and incredibly expensive Bugatti Veyron.
Even an L-39 would have been a better choice, and I think you can pick one up for only $250k.
Or how about even a homebuilt turbine Lancair IV-P?
But a C182? That's like casting Rosie O'Donnell in a porn flick. Not the best choice.
