Fuel in Laayoune - - GMML

Post by Murdoch86 »

Anyone know how available fuel (Jet A, over wing nozzle) is in Laayoune (Western Sahara).

I would like to make a tech stop there.

What would be great would be a phone number of the fuel ppl there.

Thanks

Okay, I'm officially bored :)

Try sending a message to:

There's also a contact number on the bottom of the page, for (I assume) the airport.

Can you stop in the Canaries instead? Much more civil....

Where are you going too or coming from?

if you are there during the day you will not have trouble buying Jet A. I was there and needed the overwing nozzle and it was easy. can't remember the name of the fuel place or how I paid? I seem to remember using Durams, but it could have been US dollars. It is a military Base so there is always someone there and fuel is easy to come by, and customs was fairly simple on a technical stop. I agree the Canaries are much nicer but much more expensive, and unless you you are staying a while, a lot more hassle with the big airports.. If you need more info let me know and I will dig into my records and see what I can find.
