Does anybody have and info on Future Air in barrie with regards to getting a PPL & CPL Mulit/IFR.

I had there CFI do my float rating found her to be a competent instructor with a structured style. I'm sure she could make sure you don't get burned

From what I understand they are a bit short of cash and have burnt some of their suppliers. They are also being sued because one of their instructors closed the hangar door on the wing of the Borden Flyin Club C-172. I'd suggest a pay as you go approach with them.

I hear there is great instructor working for them, an Italian fella. Great in the plane and very knowledgeable. And I her the guy who closed the door on hanger was actually an owner of another A/C in hanger.

Looking at the website, they have no twin available for mutli engine / MIFR training. Looks like the C421 is only for charters. I believe it is a high performance AC. You will need to have 250 hours TT and write the IATRA before you can fly it - NOT A TRAINING AIRPLANE.

i'm pretty darn sure a cessna 421 isn't high preformance, and it's not over 12,500. So you're not gonna need the iatra for flying it. On a more realistic note, it isn't a training aircraft by any means though.

down to 1 airplane and they borrow a twin from somewhere else if needed. italian fellow moved on to a different school.

Assuming the Vne is over 250 KIAS it would be high performance unless I am missing something.
