Seems to me the active attempt at self-promotion and the display of ambition would get many employer's interested - after all, they are looking for the best candidates.

This is the hiring season.

More 'pilots' should be as involved.

Good on you, anonymous pilot. And to the rest of you lot who disparage that type of ambition, take another drink.

Way to get out of doing any of your own research...just sit back and let the jobs roll on in! If only I had thought of that when I had 120 hours
Sounds like a real hard worker to me

ambition?? are you for real?? it reflects the typical seneca arrogance..

"YOU(the employer) call ME. I'm almost done, so you better start calling me, cause I ain't gonna apply to your shit outfit... You call me and hire me...." <- his message paraphrased.

He's so fucking lazy that he won't even bother emailing or faxing a resume or stopping somewhere to get a job...

He's posted his intel and wants people to scoop him up....

If you think that's initiative and motivation and hard work, that's almost as bad at the next one of them who will walk down the hall and buy a ppc....

How do you know that's all they've done? If their attitude is truly as you describe, then I agree with you. I did not get that impression, though, choosing instead to think they were being ambitious and looking at it in a positive way. And why not? Maybe somebody looking for a dogsbody might just call 'em.

Cut the kid a break, At least they are showing some initiative, Lets try to encourage one another and support up and comers. Im sure thats not the only approach they are taking in their search for employment in this hard nosed industry. Beats alot of new "would be pilots" approach, which is to graduate school and then decide, "daddy can you get me a job with xyz airline".

I say good for you and good luck in your search.
