To go or not to go
My "Friend" has the oppportunity to go to Jazz. His eventual goal is Westjet or mainline. Is it more beneficial to stay in a current position as a heavy turbo prop captain at an AC tier 3 or roll the dice with jazz and commute to the given base. Just looking for opinions, not a decision.

I once had a "friend" who had to make that same decision. Tier 3 type operator, lots of heavy TP PIC time and making good dough. This "friend" decided that he would send out resumes and of the top 6 (ACJ, AC, WJ, CJ, FA or CN) he would accept the first offer he was given. It turned out to be ACJ with a huge pay cut. 18 months later he has been hired by AC.
He has had to move closer to his base but in the end he says it will be worth it.
There are as many stories as there are answers to your question. Make a pro /con list or something. Or better idea, get really drunk and throw darts at your wall - if it lands on WJ - YOUR"RE IN!
