Canadian North Dispatch
So I hear alot of good things about Canadian North lately, and I notice they're hiring Flight Dispatchers. Anybody have any details on this position? Rumour has it that it's a pretty good package they put together, but I haven't heard any thing in detail. From what I've read, it sound like they're really going place (no pun intended).

Since you mentioned that their dispatch used to be out sourced. I am just wondering if it is properly run since it is fairly new? Reason I asked is at my current job the dispatch operation (fairly new upgraded from type c) is an absolute shamble.dxpr wrote:Canadian North is a great company. They used to contract out their dispatch to Skyplan Services. They must be starting to do it for themselves... If they are hiring, and you are looking for a good dispatch job, I would go after it!

Yes, I think we're a great company. I was brought over from Skyplan to set up dispatch at Canadian North, and believe I made an excellent choice. This is the greatest bunch of airline people that I've ever had the opportunity to know.
We're in need of experienced Flight Dispatchers that are looking for a good job, with good wages, good benefits, and a great supporting staff.

5T does have great flight crews, most of the guys are not cocky and are a fun bunch...There are a ''few'' people on the ground I wouldnt want to hang out with...But over all nice to see the company getting its own dispatch. Is the dispatch going to be in YYC?Why not YEG were almost all the flights come and go from?

Wow... James is the Cheif!!
I've known James for about 4 and a half years, ( I almost worked for him once) and I have always known him to be a straight shooter, and excellent at what he does.
He asked me my favorite interview question of all time...
"What is your favorite football team?"
"Pfft.. The RIDERS!"
(Hey James, can you figure out who this is?)
