IATRA with 200TT
Just wondering if doing the IATRA exam is benneficial with only 200 hours. Also, I know with a commercial license (multi endorsed) you can fly up to 12.5 MCGTOW, with the IATRA does that allow you to fly more Regional A/C (SAAB 340,Dash7/8, etc) with only 200 hours? (not that im going to walk into a dash with that, I'm jsut curious to know the benefits of it) Thanks for the info!

I'd say go write it as well.......it's good for 2 years and only costs $35......you have nothing to lose (except the $35) and you wouldn't want to be passed up in a situation where they needed you to have it right away.
You'd like to fly in a 2 crew enviroment sometime in the next two years right? It could happen, go for it!
Good luck.

Write the exam. Especially if you atttend Seneca. Jazz is hiring low time guys. Without the IATRA you will be SOL. It allows you to act as a crew member (other than PIC) on a trasport category aircraft. And if you don't know allready the exam is essentially the ATPL with some stuff like the NATS omitted.
