It is possible. Alberta's a nice market right now since most of the abe-bodied young men are flocking to the rigs to make money. Not to say that it'll be easy. Don't expect anything in this industry to be easy, but if you find one of the good employers (don't be affraid to hold out for one who'll put their promises on paper) it can be worth it.

Assuming you're coming from somewhere east of the rocks, mountain schools likely won't hire an instructor without substantial mountain experience. Unless you also have the funds to buy that from them, in which case you can use that as your opportunity to prove yourself to the boss.

Good luck!

You'll have your BEST chance of getting hired where you did your rating. Most places don't like hiring class IV's that they don't know. If you do your rating somewhere, then stay with them until you have your class III. Thats just what I've seen in the past.

Instructing jobs aren't that bad to come by these days.... lots of place are looking for instructors. Alot of the companies in BC are looking for instructors with not only mountain time but a MIFR.

Bang on a few doors and see what happens.... thats the best way to do it
