INRAT - New Approach Ban

Post by beechy »

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone whom has written the INRAT since the new Approach Ban had any questions to which it applied. My thinking is that if it only applies to 700 type operators that they might save that sort of question for the ATPL exams.......I know a bunch of people writting soon so i wanted to ask, so I could help them out.....thanks

hey Beechy
I just wrote the INRAT a few weeks ago. There were no questions having to do with the new approach bans. Your right it will be on the ATPL.

From what I remember there were a lot of gps overlay and underlay app questions.
I would recommend reading the com section in the AIM.

good luck
and
btw they put a copy of the alternate min page in the appendix, including the requirements for using a gps app as an alternate.

From my experience it takes transport a while to update the questions on the exams....

Rather than re write the entire exam they will just take any questions that have questionable answers and get a new exam together in the works.
