Nice plane! Shame about the colour.

Personally, I like the AC concept of trying to move away from the epidemic "Maytag white fuselage" that too many carriers have adopted. Baby blue; maybe not the most masculine, but at least its a sure departure from the mundane. And to you jealous hecklers... :butthead:

If I recall correctly from the Céline Dion video (with all the new SLF herder uniforms and so on) that was the colour of her eyeshadow. I'm sure something was said about it, but I instinctively hit the mute button and missed it.

I was in the Boeing plant in Everett yesterday (took the tour) and saw the second AC 777 on the production floor. I think they were joining the fuselage together. It was behind a Continental 777 which was in the second last production stage.

Rumour has it they're going to start building the first B787 in about 5 weeks or so.

Cheers.

Didn't the Luftwaffe paint the bottoms of their aircraft that colour blue in order to avoid detection? Who paints an aircraft sky blue  (unless to camoflage it)?

Yeesh!

But I will admit that it will be nice to see the 777's coming and going in YVR...when will AC get the first one's delivered? :?:

RB.
Give them a break. No other company in Canada has them. This is very exciting. On a more serious note, when will they stop making me take my shoes off at security in LHR? I'm getting very anoid RB.

heh, dont think they'll ease up any time soon.

i got in serious trouble for once saying (and in a very obvious and jokingly manner) "wow you're so forward" when i was asked to undo my belt buckle. I got lectured on the seriousness of air carrier security.
