Im not sure she is required to disclose her hiring strategies and have them approved by you. Perhaps she has a good friend at the company that knows she is a hard worker and a very dedicated member of our industry.

Your motives seem a bit malicious to me. I figure any organization hiring a female instructor for this SPECIFIC aircraft right now will figure out who you are talking about. For this reason, I recommend this post be edited or removed completely.

Re: My Instructor is lying to me.....what to do

Post by superiorwhore »

Fibber wrote:Hey everybody,

I have a problem. My instructor is lying to me, and lying to me about everything!

The biggest lie of them all is regarding her leaving our FTU to go and fly a Jetstream 31 in Alberta. What I dont understand is how she can be hired straight on to the line (on a scheduled service) with no PPC or PCC, without any references from the CFI.

Maybe I am wrong and people get hired with only a telephone interview, with no ground school, to go and fly an airplane they have not been trained on with people in the back! I dunno.

I am concerned because during my training with her, what else has she lied about? My ability as a pilot? Maybe I had the skills and she kept milking me for hours! Aggggggg

Stress.

Thats it!
Riiiiight, so you think she is bullshiting you because shes got a new job, huh

So I guess if she leaves than your going to come here and publicly apologize, cause guess what it does happen, and quite often, especially with this industry.
I have gotten jobs with only phone interviews, infact only one of my employers has actually checked my references.

Also, with your post you definately show you lack of knowledge of the industry as, you don't get hired and go right into an aircraft, the company will provide the GROUNDSCHOOL as well as FLIGHT TRAINING before any pilot will fly with pax in the back.

Wow, issues man! You got lotsa issues!

Is there something else behind this post? Do you have additional reason to belive she lied to you? You admitted yourself that you might be wrong but are still willing to come on here making accusations about someone that you've essentially identified.

Whatever your beef is with this person you need to find yourself a new instructor. You shouldn't be flying with someone you don't trust (whether you are justified or not) and she shouldn't be stuck in a plane with the guy who so bravely came online annonomously accusing her of unproffesional behaviour.

Also you should keep track of which companies this person ends up with because she'll always be above you on the totem pole and you definitely won't ever be getting hired by any of these companies after this post.

Desksgo's right. You need to clean up the evidence of your verbal diarrhea before it does any more damage to your credibility.

buddy let me tell you something about instructors. yes we are all liers. cause if it wasn't for us instructors guys like yourself would be out of the flying school and fast. you'll think that your all good and that your all ready, but your not. for some reason your a slow learner. now how can an instructor say to a stdent "buddy your have a hard time in learning how to fly. if i were you i would go get another career. get out of flying its better for the two of us" kinda harsh don't you think. and besides if we were to say that how would we instructors gain our hours. so swallow the pill and keep doing what your good at. COMPLAINING.

It can happen, I went from instructing to flying a Jetsteam (mind you quite a few years ago), plus a few others I know more recently.

Talk to her about it.

That's probably it. My advice then is to quit while your ahead, don't invest anymore of your time pursuing a pilot's licence. You'll be happier and so will I, knowing I won't have to share the sky with you.

People,

I can not believe that someone would come on here and publicly shame someone like this. That makes me sick. This is someone's reputation and livelihood you are messing with here. Karma is a funny thing so you should keep you head up. Things like this always have a funny way of working themselves out.[/quote]

you guys are funny... you just believe everything you read on this forum... what if that Fibber guy just doesn't exist at all, and it's just someone else who is pissed about that girl who wrote this?
if someone announces the end of the world on this website, will you jump out the window to die faster and not suffer?

come on. some of you lack jugement, IMHO. anyone with a computer could set you up that easy with such a "killer" (oh my god!!!) thread...

and anyone much smarter than some of you would set you up this exact way...

Ok Handytard, time for you to go find a new hobby, you don't quite make it up to the "MUST BE THIS SMART TO ENTER THIS INDUSTRY" line, back to the kiddy rides for you. As for your instructor, good for her, I hope she does very well in the industry, and being as this is a big break for her, maybe cut her some slack and say congratulations. Honestly buddy, I hope we never have to share the same piece of sky. Whom ever it was that got the Jetstream job, congratulations to you from me, you won;t miss instructing meatballs like this guy!!

Don't tell the poor kid he knows how to fly when he doesnt so you can log your hours man, thats why your an instructor you are there to teach him, not fool him so you can get to your wet dream using his money that pay for the hours you log.

and i don't think all instructors are liars, i believe good people still exist in such a world, Unfortunately Only very few.

Tangent Alert: This Comment Has Nothing To Do With The Original Thread

Captain_MayDay,
Maybe you can explain something to me. What's with the "God bless" at the end. What are you trying to achieve with a post that consists of nastiness, nastiness and some more nastiness followed by just a little bit of self-rightious niceness. Do you add that to make yourself feel better of do you really think it make you sound less mean?

I'm not just razzing you here. I honnestly don't get it.

WOW I have read some bad posts here..but that one takes the cake....Its students like you that make me NOT enjoy instructing...I LOVE teaching people....BUT it seems that there are SO MANY lazy, selfish, inconsiderate, rude students out there these days

BTW I know of people who have left instructing from jobs ranging to 206's to 727's

my post delivers a very clear message to all the instructors that wake up in the morning with a grumpy mood knowing that they are going to work to do something that they never wanted to do in the first place. IF YOUR NOT HAPPY WITH IT THEN DONT FUCKING DO IT !, its not my freakin fault that you did'nt get laid last night and ur wife made u sleep on the couch, don't put it out on the kids buddy. for the other instructors that love the fact that they are teaching and making pilots for our industry, i give all my respect and wish them all the best in their career.
im saying the truth, i know it hurts, but thats the truth about some im not saying all, but some in the industry these days.

you will only feel offended if you are one of these people, otherwise if your instructing with honesty and commitment then you know your doing your job the way it should be done.

and i have not said anything nasty about anyone, all i said was very straight forward facts about people who know themselves better.

and with adding god bless at the end, i meant god bless , which is self explanatory and nothing wrong with god's blessings, im not a priest & im not doing any Religious preaching by saying god bless :? , but i do beleive in god, and sure do beleive in his blessings, and we're gonna need his blessings in this industry with people thinking like Dom69222.

for all the peple who do not beleive in god then may the sun or the cow you beleive in flood you with its blessings  .

P.S justwanafly, without students you would'nt have had a job in the first place, so zip it and stop comlpaining.

Wow MAyday, nice rant.

Relax guy, take a break

Looks like your new to the site, though I agree with your opinion, I do believe it could be stated a little more proffesionally than that. There are alot of instructors out there who maybe doing it for the wrong reasons, but really, whos is a rush to make peanuts for flying with people who don;t know how to fly. I believe in proffesionalism in the aviation industry, but until flight schools start paying instructors some cash, nobody is going to be thrilled with the job, its a means to an end. I myself had the luck of flying with some great instructors in my day, and the fact that I am still alive and flying has alot to do with good lessons in flight school. Welcome to Avcanada Mayday, relax a bit, we all get mixed up in the action around here, but ya might wanna keep it down with the four letter words and show some of that "proffesionalism"

I'm totally relaxed, and i tried putting it in a kinda professional way except that some people actually never understood and forced me to post my 2nd one so they can understand it more clearly.

as for what you said electra guy that who's in a rush to make peanuts for flying with who don't know how to fly.
hey no pilot was delivered by his mother knowing how to fly, thats the whole point of having Instructors who teach these guys or gals how to fly.
If you don't like the pay, don't take the job, no one's forcing you.

we all went to learn how to fly at our local flying school or college or flying club, and the fact that the people teaching us how to do it, were honest and professional while doing their job, we later on succeeded in our careers and till now thank them for the professional work they've done.

The low wages for Instructors/pilots is not a reason to make someone be dishonest and do his job unprofessionaly, after all whos happy with what he's paid, we always want more if we know we can get it, thats another subject but for now, im just trying to tell these instructors to please do their job professionaly and with some honesty and once you get in the aircraft/classroom and shut the door, please leave all your personal issues and problems out that door, and concentrate on what your doing and try to do your job the best way it can be done.

this not only implies on instructors but on every single human being that serves his company or country or whatever he does, do it the right way regardless of the pressure, sorrow, sadness, depression your into, or hey , take the day off, clear your mind , go on vacation etc etc...

thanks and im not trying to attack anyone with my posts, just trying to make my point clear, and i think ive made it crystal clear.

Good luck to everyone in their career/studies. 8)

P.S electraguy don't get offended my freind i was'nt refering to you or any specific person with this post, im just a pretty straight forward person and if i gotta say the truth, i say it. regardless of whom it's going to hurt.
