The End.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have reached my limit - I have done about 60 resumes now and I am burnt out. I accepted the last one today.
If you are still in need of advice, I will still be lurking, but nuff s'nuff.
If I recant or change my mind or otherwise lose it, I'll wave a flag, but for the time being, good luck to all of you who used my 'service' in your search, and good luck to all you who did not.
To all of you who took the time to thank me, you're welcome! For those of you who didn't bother, you're welcome too.

I never used your services, (although maybe I should have just to get the best possible resume), but I appreciate you comming on here and doing this for a lot of low time guys. A good resume can go a long way and for you to be doing this for nothing, its a great thing to see. AvCanada needs more guys like you. Keep up the good work. Maybe one day I'll get you to check out mine, its obvious you know more about resumes than most people in this industry.

You guys are great! Its fantastic that I could do such a small thing to help you all out - all I do is take the mud out of the water and let your own talents shine through - its your hard work that makes it all come together.
Fly/wrench/ramp safe!
You've made my day. I may not even write any more crusty posts (tonight)!

Yes thanks, I must have been the one who broke the camels back!
Re: The End.
I can't believe there are people who would not even bother to thank you. They must be the same ones who go and pay cash for a PPC.xsbank wrote:....

XSbank,
People didn't take the time to thank you?
Don't let those who did not thank you reflect upon the level our gratitude. Although I never got the chance to use your services, I did paste all of your posts/ your employment thread for future use. I, and many others, appreciate your help!! Its nice to have someone with lots of experience giving us newbies a whole bunch of pointers!!!
Thanks again for your time and effort!!

Just going to say thanks again xsbank because you deserve it. I happened to look at my old resume today and cringed in horrendous pain. Your feedback really helped me to create a resume I feel is quite strong; its brief and to the point, has very little "bs", and fits on one page which I'm sure employers are grateful for. Being one of a million low-time CPL guys fresh outta school, I'll take any advantage I can get.
I've sent my resume and cover letter off to about 12 companies so far, so I will let you know how my job search goes. *fingers crossed*

You guys are making me all misty-eyed. Course, could be the gin, too.
I really do appreciate the thanks. The majority of recipients have thanked me and take the time to pass on how they're doing, which is great. I'm sure some didn't like the results, especially when I pared three pages (the exception, usually two) down to one. Maybe I hurt some feelings?
Those who didn't/haven't thanked me are the sort who think they are entitled to the help, who expect the rest of us to let them through the door first. I'm sure they think they scored a freebie.
For those of you who have scored a job after using my resume, I'm sure it was a coincidence, but it still gives me great satisfaction! Maybe if I survive the weekend I'll open up the lines again.
For those of you who haven't heard back from me (one or two at most) Telus really did screw me up - all my saved/sent e-mails have vanished so send 'em again and I'll do yours before I head out tomorrow.

Well, thanks again from me XSB. The job I had lined up for this summer fell through, so the resume you did up for me is going to get a lot more use than planned. I'll let you know how it works out.

Hi Scott - these things are just sent to try us. I can't recall if I did a cover for you but if not, send it along and I'll 'do it' for you.
I just met a lady who declined a 340 sim. job at Cathay...go figure.
