The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

You guys are making me feel SERIOUSLY overworked

Guess I should post some numbers (I know it's a totally different thing, but, what the heck...may explain some of the grumpier days of some us, since I'm sure in the summer it's similar all over the country).

July : 221.5
Last week: 61.5

Thanks for all the replies, but explain to me how you can fly 221 hours in one month? Is that legal? Or do you mean that you worked 221 hours in total and flew less??

Once upon a time that would have been legal but I don't know that it is now.

I'd be rich if I could fly that much!

 LILF,

To work those low low numbers, I was on duty, fueling loading planning, arguing for about 300 hours. I get paid for the 100 hours in the air. The rest is, well bonus time I guess.

10-12 hours a month if I am lucky, but that's ok with me because I am salaried,

I once offered to fly for free. 703 corperate charter in a King Air and Cheyenne.

Work for free.

FLY FOR NO PAY AT ALL

just pay me $15:00 per hour waiting time.
no takers.
Would have made a fortune.

The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.
